Annual Christmas Card Competition: Winner of 2024

Every year local schools take part in The Hawthorns Braintree Christmas card competition. An opportunity for the children to design the cover of our Christmas card for that year. They all put in their best efforts and we received some wonderful entries. The residents spent time reviewing the designs and although all of them were worthy, there could only be one winner.

We are delighted to announce Elizabeth Williams, aged 10 from Notley Green Primary school was the winner with her beautiful design. Paul and Sandra, General Managers presented Elizabeth with a £25 WH Smith voucher and the school with £250 which they will be putting towards a new Learning room for the children.
