Bronze Award For The Hawthorns Braintree
The Hawthorns Braintree is proud to have been nominated as a Bronze winner in the Elderly Accommodation Counsel’s 2019 housing awards. Each year Elderly Accommodation Counsel (EAC) celebrates successful examples of later life housing. This year a record 18,990 residents, staff and visitors took part.
Coming third in the East of England category for Elderly Housing, The Hawthorns Braintree thanks all those staff, residents and family members who voted for our retirement village in Essex. Our retirement village was able to ask our growing band of Facebook supporters to help by voting for us, while residents and family were only too happy to oblige in casting their votes.
General Manager Paul Tripney commented, “the fact that this was voted for by amongst others residents and family members, makes it all the more special. To be recognised by those that matter for the good work we do here in Braintree is really nice, it does feel like one big family here and the fact that we all support each other is great.”
Highlights of comments made by visitors in support of our retirement community include:
“The staff are simply amazing! From the minute you walk through the door there is a wonderful atmosphere. From the reception staff to the cleaners, the dining room staff to the Managers everyone is so friendly and helpful. The Hawthorns is a great place to visit.”
“Mum moved in 8 months ago and staff have been fantastic in there caring attitude towards her transition from her own home to apartment living at Hawthorns. Nothing is too much trouble from all the staff from cleaners to waitresses to reception.”
