Temporary closure of the Hawthorns communities to Visitors
Dear Relatives and Visitors of residents at The Hawthorns.
Due to the exceptional circumstances we all find ourselves in we have taken the difficult but responsible decision to close our communities to all visitors from today, Monday 23rd March 2020.
The well-being of our residents and staff is our main priority, and by temporarily suspending all visits we are reducing the risk of cross-contamination.
We will continue to keep you in contact with your loved ones, via various social media channels, but please do bear with us if the telephone is not always answered promptly.
Please be assured that we are following all the guidance provided by The World Health Organisation, The UK Government and Public Health England.
Should you be interested in staying safe in one of our apartments and having everything done for you then we can provide a Virtual Tour of any of our services via mobile phone or Skype, or in certain circumstances a Controlled Visit where we can come and collect you safely in our own minibus. We can even collect you on move-in day if you need.
If you have any concerns please speak to the General Manager.
