Happy St David’s Day from the Hawthorns Clevedon
The Hawthorns Clevedon is a vibrant, inclusive retirement community perfectly positioned on the seafront in the attractive seaside town of Clevedon. On the 1st of March, staff and residents at the Hawthorns Clevedon hosted a delicious luncheon celebrating St David’s Day to honour Wales and its rich heritage.
The dining room was adorned with Welsh flags and daffodils, paying tribute to the symbolic flower of Wales, where residents gathered for an afternoon of good food while catching up with friends. Welsh cuisine is an essential part of any Welsh celebration. The culinary team prepared a delightful feast consisting of leek and potato soup, lamb pie, and a traditional amber pudding.
Speaking of the day, Customer Services Manager Aggie Jasinski stated, “Nothing beats the joy of sharing such moments with lovely friends. Here’s to many more happy gatherings and memorable celebrations!”
