Oh, I do like to be Beside the Seaside…
The Hawthorns Clevedon is a vibrant, inclusive retirement community, perfectly positioned on the seafront in the attractive seaside town of Clevedon. On 22nd July, staff and residents welcomed friends, relatives, and local community members for a summer seaside-themed event. The culinary team prepared a delicious barbeque lunch and loved ones and visitors alike admired an exhibition of arts and crafts produced by residents, including paintings, pottery and knitting.
Live entertainment included a Punch and Judy Show, with an acapella sea shanty group, the Barnacle Buoys, singing during the afternoon. The event raised funds for the Children’s Hospice Southwest and the RNLI. Customer Services Manager, Aggie Jasinski, stated, “Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun, it was a great day filled with community spirit. Let’s cherish our seafront location, the lovely memories made, and keep the sunshine in our hearts!”
