The Hawthorns wins at the Pinders Awards!
We are excited to report that The Hawthorns has scooped the award in the Best Independent Living Scheme for 2019 at the annual prestigious Pinders Healthcare Design Awards for its fabulous new development in Northampton. Against strong competition from other purpose-built schemes, the Hawthorns won out for its stunning design and resident environments.
Receiving the award from The Green Goddess Diana Moran are Ian Turnbull, Operations Manager for The Hawthorns Group and Adrian Doyle, Director of Developments, for the Avery Group. They are accompanied by John Whelan, Rob Winspear and Alberto Gomez from main contractors NATTA; Gwilym McGovern, Chris Shearman and Richard Bailey from architects TDC; project manager Jason Denning and Graham Bevan from DWA Architects.
It is the 20th year that Pinders has been holding and organising the Healthcare Design Awards. The Awards highlight the hard work and dedication made by organisations, designers and architects in recognising and incorporating the needs and desires of residents into their final building designs.
This is a fantastic accolade for a leading community in the independent living sector.
